Honest Review of BBLUNT Hot Shot Heat Protection Mist

I used this product once, and it caused severe hair fall almost immediately after blow-drying.

To be clear: I don’t use any styling products. I’ve only ever used a blow dryer to dry my clean, washed hair — and I’ve never had any issues before. This was the first time I tried a heat protectant, and it turned into a nightmare.

Right after using this mist and blow-drying as usual, I noticed a sudden increase in hair shedding. By the next day, it got worse. I had to stop using all heat, apply soothing treatments to my scalp, and I’m now just hoping my hair recovers.

I don’t have a history of allergies or hair issues, so this was completely unexpected and extremely upsetting. I suspect something in the product (possibly alcohol, fragrance, or silicone) triggered a reaction. While it might work for some people, I strongly do not recommend it if you have a sensitive scalp or are cautious about product ingredients.
